Jakarta (Automotive Business News) - Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing will halt production of the motor Mio Soul Soul following the birth of the new variant GT.
"We will focus spending YIMM Mio Soul in the stock market. If it is over, it will switch to a GT Soul," said Executive Vice President of PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing Dyonisius Beti when deploying the GT Soul launch in Jakarta this weekend.
Dyon said the Soul is more powerful GT in the appeal because it has adopted Mio Soul injection technology Yamaha Jet-Fuel Mixture Injection (YMJET-FI) that is more powerful but more fuel efficient.
"Technology-FI YMJET can save fuel by 30 percent," he said.
Dyon also explains why Yamaha did not pin a name "Mio" on the GT Soul. According to him, the name Mio drivers are more likely to make a Yamaha, while women's specific model for the Soul male GT.
